Hours 32-36 Hours per week Must be willing to work one late night (7 pm) a week Two Saturdays a month (open until 12 pm) Technician Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Responsible for all pre-testing needed prior to doctor seeing patient Takes case history, performs visual acuity distance and near, stereopsis and color vision testing Enters all clinical data collected into the electronic medical record in real time.
Chairside assisting Insertion and Removal training of contact lenses (Soft, RGP, CRT) Answering calls Restocking exam rooms with proper supplies Maintain a well organized and clean work environment Manual lensometry a plus EMR experience a plus Technician Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred one year's experience as an optometric technician, but willing to train Must have computer skills and the ability to learn EMR system Strong ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail a must Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills essential Able to transition and think operationally The Rosenthal team is looking to bring in a Technician to join us!
