Summary:
The HR Coordinator will help to provide support for the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs as well as support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office.
The HR Coordinator will help carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas such as:
employment, benefits, safety, ect.
REPORTS TO:
Manager, Corporate Employment and Benefits ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provides support for the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
Assists employees, supervisors and managers in various employee relations issues by researching any necessary information, soliciting any necessary resources, and resolving the issue at hand.
Assists with conducting new hire, safety, and benefits orientations.
Assists with recruiting as needed.
Attends career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
Assists with preparing Affirmative Action Plan, Vets-100, and EEO-1.
Assists with preparing COBRA paperwork.
Assists with processing payments to all benefit vendors on a monthly basis, to include resolution of payment discrepancies, should they occur.
Assists with planning various employee activities and services such as the company events, service awards, retirement, and anniversary parties.
Assists with the administration of safety programs including safety meetings, training, ect.
Assists with the administration of the Workers' Compensation Laws, accident investigations, accident prevention programs, claims processing, preparation of reports and record keeping, and return to work programs.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
An emphasis in Human Resources Management is preferred.
One to three years of human resources experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Extremely organized and excellent administrative skills.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong coordinator skills.
Effective communication skills including responding.
Detail-oriented.
Multi-tasker and able to wear many hats.
Treats all information with discretion and confidentiality.
Takes notes / asks questions.
Good retention skills.
The ability to work as part of a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
