Our client has been a pioneer in the electric industry, manufacturing control and protective devices for generators, motors, and other prime movers. They serve the electric power industry with solid state relays for feeder, transmission, bus, transformer, generator and motor protection for any application. Their utility grade and industrial grade relays offer high accuracy, low burden, flexibility, and low maintenance and their microprocessor based relays combine multifunction protection with control, metering, data acquisition, and networked communications.
Job Summary: Responsible for the collection and management of data for use in competitive analysis, market evaluation, product development, and strategic planning for the Company.
Essential Duties:
? Research market to help maximize sales and market penetration of existing products.
? Obtain competitive data, including pricing and feature sets, for selected products.
? Research market to identify potential new products and/or feature sets for existing products.
? Obtain Customer/market data for use in promotions and product development.
? Travel with Company Sales personnel and independently, to visit Customers and prospects to identify market trends for use in product planning and sales forecasting.
? Analyze market data to assist with product pricing.
? Work with Vice President of Marketing or others as assigned to prepare research reports for submission to the Executive group and Company Owners.
? Other projects as assigned.
? Bachelor?s degree in Marketing or Business Administration?required (background in Electrical Engineering helpful).
? Minimum four years of experience in a similar position.
? Experience with a product technical in nature.
? Previous experience in writing reports for Executive review.
? Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
