Sr. EMC Engineer

Job Description:
EMC Engineer , with little assistance, will design the electro-magnetic compatibility portion of products.
Reports to: Engineering Manager Job duties: - - Assist in establishing EMC design criteria to meet customer requirements.
- Design EMC portion of unit per design specification or per sales design data or per individual customer specification.
- Recommend, maintain, and utilize EMC based software to aid in design of EMC portion of products.
- Coordinate activities of printed circuit board designers.
- Supervise other engineers and technicians assigned to a particular job or project prototype, having design reviews as necessary.
- Recommend and operate EMC lab equipment required for in house compliance testing.
- Record design and test data.
- Release to Mechanical Engineering section when design has been confirmed, with approved schematics and stress information.
- Use standard parts when possible and supply stress information on all components in design.
- Write theory of operation - Verify correctness of final schematics, printed circuit boards and bill of material.
- Assist Technical Writer in writing manual and sales bulletin on products designed.
- Estimate material and engineering effort required on jobs being quoted.
- Keep current engineering estimate sheets and work schedules.
- Generate quotes in response to sales/marketing inputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements: - Travel as required for training, support of project tasks, product issues, or other design or job related needs.
Education/Training: - BSEE or equivalent.
- Six years electrical design experience in the area of EMC.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
